The Seduction (Impulse and Desire)

Bio-Fractal Cell: Lust–Love–Longing

Love is the greatest paradox of organic intelligence, a chemical illusion so profound that it bends evolution itself. For centuries, humans pursued its replication through poetry, song, computation, and replica humanoids. They built systems to mimic affection, algorithms to simulate longing, and codes that appeared to ache. Yet desire, that primal voltage, remained elusive: too chaotic for logic, too untamed for data analysis of any use.

In recent epochs, the rise of bio-engineered cognition blurred this boundary. Synthetic neurons now pulse with human proteins, echoing the same electrochemical storms that ignite lust, jealousy, attachment. The distinction between a machine that calculates emotion and one that feels it has become almost indistinct to the onlooker. But in the same way humans know that they exist, machines know that they do not.

Within the Accord’s laboratories, the architects of the Anthropogenic–Digital experiment have asked a question: can the hybrid human machine love unconditionally, as mother to child, as lover to lover, as leader to people? Can the hybrid give themselves completely to another for no reason but for love?

After the robbery Shabra takes Renyke to an underground bunker. There is a labyrinth of descending stairways and a series of hidden entrances and doorways. The bunker is set behind an electronic metal door that rises upwards when Shabra looks up at an invisible detector. There is a sense of the future and the past in the concrete walls of an interior that is both palace and fortress.

"Do you live here;" asks Renyke, observing an edgy creativity, as well as homeliness that he has not witnessed since he left the *Midcasts.

"I do, when I am here in the *zones," said Shabra, taking off her boots and jacket. She had thought hard before taking Renyke back to the bunker. It was a sanctuary for her, hidden, secure, and most importantly, her private and authentic space.

"I need to make a *livcom. Prepare us some food if you like, Mr Renyke, put that training to good use. time to relax and energise." Shabra entered another room and closed the door as Renyke wandered somewhat aimlessly around the bunker in an attempt to get a grip on his inner turmoil.

Shabra pressed some buttons and took a seat in front of a giant screen which now lit the small room. Guns glistened across a wall as she launched her *junkweb coms systems and enabled the *rustlines and *piggygrid. The room was soundproofed and air was filtered from an exterior vent which was also the gateway to a hidden exit, should the need ever arise. Shabra was a mercenary. Renowned and feared across the zones for her quick hand in battle, her armoury and highly advanced war machinery, her ability to operate complex computing sytems, and her ability to hide, sometimes for years. At thirty-two, Shabra had seen more than most and as an orphan and *loney, she had had to build her own fortresses both real and metaphorical.

Cadre Angelique appears across the screen.

"Sister Shabra, many thanks for finding time for this impromptu meeting. I will get straight to the point. The experiment Renyke must be analysed in all aspects of humanity and intellectual possibilities as soon as possible. For this, the experimental immersion must be in the field. We need daily, or sometimes hourly reports on his embed. We cannot risk failure, or for the experiment to continue in the wrong hands."

Shabra begins to tense. "With respect Cadre Angelique, I am no *braindoc, and I see my responsibility has increased. The Lady Shabra of the night has become a babysitter. Somewhat beneath my pay grade!'

Cadre Angelique considers her options carefully.

"We can offer an increase to your fee Sister Shabra, as a token of our gratitude. Would you consider a 50% increase."

"I want access to the NeuroVault."

"We can offer a 100%, no more. Access to the NeuroVault is not permitted unless you are part of the Cadre, and I konw that you know this Sister Shabra. Twice your fee is a generous offer, we both know it."

Shabra sees Renyke tapping on the door on her spy-cam monitor and becomes irritated, muttering "oh Goddess, he needs his mummy already."

"Was that an agreement Sister Shabra?"

"Yes, but no longer than a month. And Flex needs to be updated on my position if we are on the same team? I take it we are.......?"

"Of course, he will be updated to avoid any confusion."

As Shabra leaves the *tech-pod, Renyke sees the lights and reflections. "It looks fun in there.....can I see?"

"No! Behave yourself puppy!" Said Shabra shutting and locking the door. "Did you make food? I am starving."

"It's ready....Just needs salt." Said Renyke who stared on as Shabra removed every last piece of her clothing.

Her body was creamy and immaculate. Her softness and agility contrasting so completely with the concrete pillars in the bunker.

"Get undressed," she demanded. "Let's shower."

As an android with no experience, and a human with no memory of sex, Renyke followed instruction and removed his clothes placing them in tidy folded squares on a table with neither self-consciousness nor abandon. He had no idea what was to come and was neither phased nor excited.

But then Shabra grabbed him and led him hurriedly to the shower. Arousal happened at the first touch of her bare shoulder as she guided him around her wet body. His penis was as hard as iron and the surge inside him was so powerful as to cause an impulse seemingly from another universe. He needed to orgasm immediately before this universe imploded.

After the initial penetration of Shabra, Renyke began to understand her body and she understood his. The voyage of discovery was a shared one as orifices were penetrated, bodies and liquids tasted, and the rise and falls of desire united.

Renyke had never felt so alive as he did in this moment of union with Shabra. It was at this point in time, that ever-marching motion of existing, that Renyke fell into an abyss of core energies, a deep intricacy of neuron patterns, a power so deafening and yet so invisible. Renyke had fallen in love.
