At the Tale Teller Club, we believe art is at its most powerful when it refuses to sit still. This week, iServalan has been exploring a new experimental practice — weaving together music, contemporary dance, and immersive 360° landscapes into what we’re calling fusion practice.
From Studio to Sphere
Fresh from training with the Rambert Dance Company in contemporary fusion, ballet, and Bollywood movement, iServalan has begun shaping a practice where dance phrases mirror the structures of musical composition. These are placed inside expansive 360° environments, creating layered artworks that audiences can experience in different ways — through VR headsets, phones, desktops, or traditional 2D films.
